Setlists and Show Mode

Setlist app for live bands

Build the set once; the show runs itself.

A last-minute setlist change, a cue nobody sees, a gap between songs while someone loads the next track: that is how a live show loses momentum. PadVox keeps the whole set in one place: order the songs, set how each one transitions, and run the night from a simplified Show Mode built for the stage.

Build the set, in order

Create a playlist in your project and drag songs into the order you will play them. Group them into sections (Set 1, Set 2, Encore) and PadVox calculates the total duration as you go, so you know if the set fits the slot.

Every song carries its own details: key, duration, cover art, a PDF score, video, stems, lyrics, and its own metronome and transition settings. The setlist is not just an order; it is the whole show, ready to run.

  • Drag-and-drop reordering
  • Sections: Set 1, Set 2, Encore
  • Auto-calculated total duration
  • Per-song key, tempo and cover art

Run the night from Show Mode

Show Mode is a simplified, big-control interface built for the stage. It auto-advances to the next song and shows the time remaining in the show, so you always know where you are.

Each song transitions the way you set it: immediately, after a configurable delay, or stop-and-load for a clean break. On any paid plan you can drive the whole set hands-free with a MIDI footswitch.

  • Simplified stage interface, large controls
  • Auto-advance and show time remaining
  • Transitions: immediate, delayed or stop-and-load
  • MIDI footswitch control (Solo and up)

Lyrics and cues that reach the whole team

Lyrics are synced second by second and can carry chords, shown full-screen with the current line highlighted: on the device or on an external screen over HDMI or AirPlay.

Staff cues send technical prompts to the right person at the right moment: sorted into categories like Lighting, Sound, Stage, Video or Pyro, each with a priority from Low to Critical, a configurable pre-alert, and assignment to a specific team member.

  • Second-synced lyrics with optional chords
  • Full-screen lyrics via HDMI or AirPlay
  • Staff cues: 7 categories, 4 priority levels
  • Pre-alerts assigned to specific team members

Frequently asked questions

How do I build a setlist in PadVox?

Create a playlist in your project and drag songs into the order you will play them. You can group them into sections like Set 1, Set 2 and Encore, and PadVox auto-calculates the total duration.

Can PadVox advance the setlist automatically during a show?

Yes. Show Mode auto-advances to the next song and shows the time remaining. Each song transitions immediately, after a configurable delay, or stop-and-load, and you can control it with a MIDI footswitch on any paid plan.

Can I show synced lyrics to the band?

Yes. Lyrics are synced second by second with optional chords and shown full-screen, either on the device or on an external screen over HDMI or AirPlay.

What are staff cues?

Staff cues are technical prompts for the team, sorted into 7 categories (Lighting, Sound, Stage, Instrument, Video, Pyro, General) with a priority from Low to Critical, a configurable pre-alert, and assignment to a specific member.

How many setlists can I create?

The Free plan includes 2 playlists; paid plans scale from 5 on Solo to unlimited on Agency. MIDI control is available on Solo and up, and staff cues on Band and up.
