For solo artists

PadVox for solo artists who play with tracks

The whole band in your tracks, and the whole business in one app.

On stage alone, the tracks are your band: and if they drift or drop out, nobody covers for you. Off stage, you are also the manager, the booker and the box office. PadVox is built for both sides of the solo artist: playback you can trust for the show, and the business handled in the same app.

01

Playback that carries the whole show

The PadVox audio engine runs your backing tracks, click and stems with around 1.3 ms of latency and holds solid for a full set. Work with stems rather than a locked stereo file, so you can mute a part, drop everything but the click, or rebalance on the fly.

Follow synced lyrics on screen and run the night from a simplified Show Mode that auto-advances between songs, so you are performing, not operating an app.

  • Custom multitrack engine, ~1.3 ms latency
  • Stems with live per-stem control
  • Synced lyrics and Show Mode auto-advance
  • 4 output channels for tracks, click and more
02

Control it without breaking the performance

Alone on stage, you cannot walk back to an iPad between songs. Control playback from your Apple Watch (play, stop, next) with haptic feedback, or map a MIDI footswitch to the transport and keep your hands on your instrument.

Route a dedicated in-ear feed through your audio interface so you hear the click and your own vocal clearly, at a safe volume, in any room.

  • Apple Watch remote control with haptics
  • MIDI footswitch mapped to play, stop, next, previous
  • A dedicated in-ear feed via multi-output routing
  • Offline-first: no venue WiFi needed
03

You are the business too: PadVox runs that

A solo act is still an operation: dates to book, venues to brief, money to track and tickets to sell. Keep a calendar of shows, send venues a stage plot and rider as a PDF, log income and expenses, and sell tickets and merch through Stripe so the money is yours.

All of it lives next to your music, so the admin never becomes a second job.

  • Calendar of shows and day sheets
  • Stage plots and riders as PDF for venues
  • Income and expense tracking
  • Ticketing with Stripe Connect, direct payouts

Frequently asked questions

Is PadVox useful if it is just me on stage?

Yes. It is built for solo performers who play to tracks: reliable multitrack playback, hands-free control from Apple Watch or a footswitch, and a dedicated in-ear feed.

How do I control playback while I perform?

From your Apple Watch with haptic feedback, or with a MIDI footswitch mapped to play, stop, next and previous, so you keep your hands free.

Can I sell tickets to my own shows?

Yes. PadVox sells tickets through Stripe Connect, so revenue goes straight to your account, with a small per-ticket commission and no monthly fee.

Does it work without a stable internet connection?

Yes. PadVox is offline-first and runs a full show with no connection, syncing when you reconnect.

Which plan should a solo artist start on?

The Free plan covers a solo project getting started; Solo adds the full live engine (MIDI, Apple Watch, external display), and Band and up add in-ear sync and stage plots.
